Europe, a great idea

Europe, stemming from the Semitic word for sunset (erebu: land where the sun sets... duh), is a great place to live. Like a giant with 25 independent brains though, it's a bit schizophrenic.

There are huge differences between the richer Western European countries and the poorer Eastern European countries. Just saw a great documentary on Dutch television, most of the commentary is in Dutch but chunks are in English also - it can also be viewed online (top right).
