From black gold to free energy

We all know that oil is running out. The Hubbert Curve represents the total amount of oil and at what stage we are now, some people say that we've passed the half way point. The OPEC would like to increase production, but is already at full (~ 99%) capacity. What will happen once there's none left? Petrodollars are know, when do we step over to Petro-euros?

Start investing in alternative resources, and do so as quick as you can. I foresee a huge market in yachting again soon... since they're luxurious, relatively fast and only need wind. The hydrogen revolution will also unfold soon, just a matter of time.

Interesting, because since I get all those forwards from everyone about boycotting Shell and Esso (the biggest companies considered to be the ones pushing up the oil/gas prices for own profit), I just read an article about Shell giving out free gas (up to 100 liters per car) for an hour in the Swedish village of Grums today.

"To promote new gas stations in Sweden" they say.

Now, if you'd have to pay 12,28 krona (€1,3) for one liter of gas, I'd be happy to get some free too!

;)
